The Amur Tiger Is easily the largest, of the six, subspecies, weighing at an average of 310kg. The tigers length (w/ tail) average 300cm, male. Females average a little smaller 250cm. The tail itself measures out to about 90cm. These tigers can achieve a massive weight of 221kg (male) and 150kg (female). Camouflage, despite their bright orange coat against pure white surroundings tigers blend in with tree lines behind walls of frozen bushes. Each cat has their own very unique stripped coat, which range from light yellow to, dark orange, to solid white. The individual strips can range from Dark navy blue, to brown, to black. Siberia's climate remains cold almost year round, which explains the reason why these tigers have such, thick, coats of fur. These coats remain the same from the day they're born to the day the decease. between Males and females the only difference physically is size and reproductive organs. Closely related to the Amur tiger is the Bengal tiger who lives father south of the equator. Bengal tigers can still be found in the wild Savannah India, Africa, most of China and Indonesia.
